While we're still waiting for the Haynes manual to come through the post, Frank needs his rust sorted and I'm going to use Vantac. It's used in marine and naval companies to remove rust from, well ships I suppose. Looking forward to it.

Its our first time blogging so excuse the terrible puns, bad jokes and any other tyre* errors :) *type
A few weeks ago we placed a bid for a 1989 VW T25 Transporter Campervan on eBay, with the idea that we wouldn't win because it will go for far more money than we had!
Just our luck that no other bugger bid for it and so we won the bloody thing. We didn't even know what condition it was in, resulting in worried excitement. We picked it up last week and have had a good look at it. Rust in parts but other than that, all good. We spent all day cleaning/clearing the interior and gave the exterior a good ol' clean and so the restoring starts!
We've named him Frank because his licence plate told us to :)
